How does it work?

KEEP is a tangible communication object designed to carry messages that matter.

Messages are sent through a dedicated mobile app. When a new message is sent, the recipient receives a notification.

To update KEEP, they place their phone on the keychain and keep it there for about 20 seconds. The message is transferred via NFC and appears on the e-ink screen.

KEEP has no battery and requires no charging. Once displayed, the message remains visible indefinitely — until another message replaces it.

Does it need to be charged?

No. The e-ink screen only consumes power when the content is updated. Once displayed, the message remains visible without any energy consumption.

Does it need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

No. The product has no Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or internet connection. Updates are done locally via NFC.

An internet connection is required to send the content through the app.

Which phones are compatible?

At launch, the app is available on iOS (Apple devices) only. It needs to be an iPhone 7 or newer.

Can multiple people send content to the same object?

Yes. An unlimited number of people can send content to the same object, as long as they are invited or connected through the app.

This allows friends, family members, or loved ones to share messages with the same recipient.

What kind of content can I send?

Content can be sent through the dedicated app.

You can send the following content on the product:
